What is Soft Tissue Therapy?

Soft Tissue Therapy is more than just sports massage.

It is an encompassing term for a range of treatments of the body’s soft tissues, i.e. the muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia (connective tissue) that we use every time we move. It incorporates sports massage, postural correction, muscular and neuromuscular techniques, and rehabilitation exercises.

The clients benefiting from Soft Tissue Therapy are not just sports people, and the treatments are wider-reaching and of a higher clinical level than just massage alone. Soft Tissue Therapy is a hugely-effective therapy for clients from all walks of life.
